  3. Then Skysurfing
  4. Wingsuit flying fixed the next urge
  5. All the skills etc then he went to B.A.S.E jumping
  6. Now he is looking for new faces to B.A.S.E. jump from
  7. Jumped Eiffel Tower
  8. Jumped from a Paraglider
  9. Stood on top of the balloon
  10. Jump from a moving truck off a bridge
  11. 2009 he wants to set a world record – Longest Distance every flown
  12. 2009 he wants to do a jump never done before.

TED2009: David Merrill – Siftables The Super Block!!!!

David Merrill, says our first understanding of spatial reasoning came from playing with blocks as kids and he then showed his cool interactive blocks that are the size of a cookie, which can move around each other & sense motion.

  1. Pour Colors
  2. Add Numbers
  3. Show recognition faces turn
  4. Build Words
  5. Manipulate sound

Children can build stories and create their own narrative.

  • Anesthesia -  1847 ushered in a whole new era.  Freedom to operate.  Go deeper.
  • Aseptic Technic – As important to wash before as afterwards.
  • Anything was possible  – Saving lives but not quality of life
  • Laproscopic Surgery through small inccisions.  Change the landscape
  • da Vinci Robot – Put a wrist on the laproscopic surgery – Introduced in 1999
  • Barriers to da Vinci Robot – Cost, Capital, More and More Ports on the Body for complex surgeries
  • Solution  – Send a tube in through one port on your body and send in the robot
  • New Robot – Off the centerline with camera, components, hands etc through one incision
  • New Markers – Find Cancer, Double check the connection. Light Up Tumors, Find boundries
  • Flexible Microscopic Probes
  • Intuitive Surgery – Builds the da Vinci.  FDA decides the date on the new one.

Seperate the car ownership and the battery ownership

  1. Network before devices (Charge when you stop)
  2. own to car, subscribe to miles (battery swap system…drive and get the next one in a quick service area.

Molecules to Electronics – Battery is not the gastank.  Battery in this sense is the crude oil.  Crude Oil is replaced with the battery.  Buy gMiles and now you buy eMiles
