I have been reading surfstation since the first day I walked into my current organization. 8 years later and thousands of articles / information they have done it again. I just flew back from LA and just like opening the NYtimes I turned on my MAC and went straight for surfstation… So Nice….
Great work by Thomas Brodahl and Jessey-White Cinis in keeping this alive and bringing a fresh design in such a often reproduced market.
The design is clean and appears to be ready to withstand the tests of time ready to continue “Spreading art & design news to the webdesign community since June 2000.
The layout is simple and too the point driving for the audience to quickly move through and read every little pixel.

I guess Evergreen has a new super tanker coming out, but in the meantime here is what 910 has been using up in California around Chico at the Humboldt Fire. The DC-10, designated as air tanker 910 and operated by 10 Tanker Air Carrier out of Victorville, California is currently under Gov’t Contract. Evergreen is coming in within the next month..

Commuting – Yes 10 times in June

For the person who many would have never thought could relinquish control of the steering wheel, I did just that. Yes in June I commuted to work with my hypermiling Mini friend 10 times (Woah). This is a major step in my focus to reduce, recycle, and reuse as much as possible. In the hypermiling sense my Mini driving collegue is turning off the car at stop lights and when coasting down hills. The results are pretty amazing. I am now filling up my car every 1.5 weeks versus every week and hopefully will see more.
Now if only my Audi S4 buddies from the late 90′s could see me now. I know I know…
