Louis Chenot a master craftsman and model maker built this supercharged, Model SJ Duesenberg with a fully functional engine over a ten year period.

This is a fully working model of a 1932 SJ Duesenberg LaGrande dual-cowl phaeton.   There is even a working video of the motor.

M/V Lone – World’s Strongest Heavy Lifter

The M/V Lone, owned by shipping company S.A.L. of Germany, together with sister ship Svenja, is the most powerful Heavy Lift Ship in the world. It has two cranes with a joint hoisting capacity of 2,000 tons. The 162-meter long Lone is also DP equipped for offshore work.

The video shows above shows the Lone’s first job, transporting six 630 ton pipes from the RHB Terminal in the Rotterdam to Korea. The video was shot on March, 11 2011.

The short film, Skwerl, gives a glimpse on how the English language sounds to foreigners using clever English-sounding gibberish. Directed by Brian Fairbairn and written, acted and edited by Karl Eccleston, this melodrama was made for Kino Sydney, “a monthly open-mic night for filmmakers” based in Sydney, Australia. Australian actress Fiona Pepper plays the female lead.
